Hi folks, Quad Racing Ireland are running a pre season grasstrack event at Ravarnet just outside Lisburn on the 13th February. (should be sign posted from Sprucefield/Blaris bridge) This is at the same venue as we used last year and it will be fun and fast with numerous races per class. It will be the old fashioned elastic start so should be fun!! We are running adult races for Quads, Solos (all classes) and sidecars. We would also consider running a blaster class for the up and coming quadsters but we need 10 to make this viable. Contact the club for more info. We would appreciate if riders would bring smaller vehicles with them to this event as it maybe be difficult to get big campers in and out so its up to yourself. It will probably be sign on and pay on the day but i will check this and inform you all if anything different. Sign on will be from 8am onwards.
Cheers,
Val Bell QRI.

We would loved to have been using tinker hill but we cant destroy it before the start of the season and we would rather give you somewhere to race than nothing at all. Hope this is ok with everyone.

No its not at Blaris. It will be held in a field on the outskirts of Ravarnet Village.

Just a quick update, things are on track and looking good for this staurday. This was a fast and physical event last year and we expect more of the same this year. The track is just beside Ravarnet village and the postcode close by is BT275NF for all your sat navs. If you are interested in riding this event please text nicola boal on 07969172368 giving her your name and grade/bike etc and i will see you all early saturday morning.

Make sure you bring your 2010 licence. Day licences will be available for those who do not have a current MRA licence.
